Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join their Outpatients nursing team. The ideal candidate will provide personal care for patients, participate in training, and help maintain a clean and safe environment. Flexibility is key, as the role includes evening clinics and operates six days a week. Previous experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Healthcare Assistant

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the Outpatients nursing team within the Clinical Support Services Division as a Health Care Assistant.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in training and development activities related to the job role.

Under the direction of the Sister/Charge Nurse you will help us to ensure that we provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Applicants should be excellent communicators and have a positive approach to patient care. A polite and courteous manner towards patients and relatives will be essential for this role, together with your ability to work under pressure, as part of a team as well as organising your own workload.

Flexibility is required as part of the role as the service works 6 days a week Monday to Saturday and also covers evening clinics until 8pm during the week.

Previous outpatient experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided to ensure you have the skills required to fulfil the position.
