Job summary

Qualifications

• RN or RM registration
• HV qualification – degree, diploma or certificate
• Nurse Prescribing
• Specialist Community Public Health Nurse post-registration study

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to the 0-5 population and families.
• Develop therapeutic relationships within complex family situations.
• Manage a defined active caseload and safeguard responsibilities.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and voluntary sector to improve public health outcomes.
• Prescribe per assessed needs from the Nurse Prescribing Formulary.
• Support and line manage the skill-mix team.
• Provide mentorship for pre-registration and SCPHN students.
