Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group invites applications for a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our Slough and Langley College team on a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE contract. The role covers Level 1–3 NCFE CACHE diplomas, using the college’s simulated hospital facilities to develop practical Health and Care skills.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant field, Level 2 English and Maths, and a Level 5 teaching qualification or be progressing towards one.

Qualifications

Must have Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant health/care field.
Level 2 English and Maths are required.
Level 5 teaching qualification or commitment to attaining one.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Level 1–3 health and social care qualifications.
Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work; act as a personal tutor.
Embed functional English and maths and prepare students for industry placements.
