Job summary

Canterbury Christ Church University is recruiting an advisor to work across the whole institution, providing professional advice on health, safety and staff wellbeing, alongside risk assessments, audits and training delivery.

Travel to other campuses is required; hybrids are available and the post offers flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.

Applicants should have substantial HSW advisory or daily management experience; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Professional health, safety and wellbeing qualification, held or in progress.
• Substantial experience in an HSW advisory role, or managing HSW matters on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and guidance on health, safety and staff wellbeing matters.
• Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the University.
• Support the development and implementation of HSW systems and policies.
• Develop and deliver HSW training.
• Perform audits and inspections.
• Undertake risk assessments.
• Report on HSW matters to relevant personnel and committees.
• Support the continual improvement of University HSW management systems.
• Travel to other campuses.
