Job summary

Brakes is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for the Reading depot to lead safety initiatives and training across the site. Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility, you will work with the central H&S team and site colleagues to embed new programmes and drive improvements.

You will analyse monthly data, develop tailored training plans, and ensure compliance with H&S policies and ISO45001. A NEBOSH certificate or NVQ Level 3 and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with managers on risk assessments, accident investigations and reports.
• Knowledge of H&S policies and ISO45001 compliance.
• The ability to work positively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
• Experience in planning and delivering training.
• A valid, full UK driving licence.

Working with the central H&S team and colleagues across the site, you'll embed new initiatives and training programmes in areas ranging from induction and H&S to compliance and skills cross-training. You'll also analyse monthly data to identify areas of improvement and develop tailored training plans in response.
