At WJ we take the health, safety and wellbeing of all our people very seriously. This role is key to driving a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability across our operations. We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HSQE Advisor with experience in the construction/highways sector who will be based in the South-East supporting our depots in Croydon, Reading, Braintree & Herne Bay and will be based in Croydon or Reading.
What you will do
This is HSQE Advisor position is a full-time role where you will be working with our South-East depots whilst also assisting our wider team of Advisors across the UK. You will be working within the existing Health and Safety management team, and this role will involve some lone working, night and weekend working and staying away from home at times may be necessary to fulfil your duties.
This is a salaried position, and a company vehicle will be provided. The successful candidate will receive the training required to do the job and any skill gaps will be addressed with additional assistance.
