Salary

£40,000 - £45,000 + Van

Core Duties
  • Oversee the organisation's compliance with workplace safety legislation and internal protocols
  • Working on-site - spotting risks etc
  • Perform routine inspections across various departments and document findings
  • Risk assessments
  • Recognise safety concerns and implement practical solutions to mitigate risk
  • Manage investigations into on-site incidents and recommend appropriate follow-up actions
  • Coordinate staff safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding safety briefings
Essential Criteria
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent safety qualification)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dedicated health and safety role
  • Construction background highly preferred but not essential
  • Strong background in conducting and documenting risk assessments and incident reports
