An educational institution located in Ipswich is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across campuses. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH qualification and a strong grasp of health and safety legislation, combined with excellent communication skills to advocate for a safety-first mindset among staff and students. This role involves driving awareness, implementing health and safety systems, and reporting on safety trends and recommendations. Flexibility is required as the role covers multiple locations.
Based across all Suffolk New College campuses - (on-site)
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates & Facilities team at Suffolk New College as Health and Safety Manager. Our award-winning College has established but growing sites at Ipswich, Rural (Otley) and Halesworth. Our Leiston provision will soon to be transformed, moving to a brand-new college in the near future.
