A prominent farming organisation is looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health policies. Health & Safety Manager

Salary: circa £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Head office in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with regular travel to regional office sites.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

Purpose of the role & how you will contribute

To lead the organisation’s health and safety agenda, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and promoting a culture of safety, wellbeing and proactive risk management. The role covers both headquarters‑based office environments and a regional workforce, requiring both office‑based working and travel across the country. Duties will include auditing, creating suitable documentation, training staff in required processes/procedures, ensuring Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies are followed worldwide, and managing health and safety‑related procurement and budgets.

What you’ll bring
  • We are seeking somebody who is a team player, excellent communicator, and who is passionate about keeping our people safe and healthy.
  • Ideally candidates will hold CMIOSH status – Chartered membership of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), or be working towards it.
  • A diploma or equivalent level qualification in Health and Safety is also highly desirable, but at minimum you will hold the NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety.
  • Candidates will ideally have several years’ experience working in a similar health and safety role; and a good level of agricultural knowledge would be hugely beneficial.
