Health and Safety Manager

Salary: £45-55k

Location: Aston Clinton

Shifts: Monday - Friday core hours

Ideal candidate background: Manufacturing environment with chemicals, blending vessels, production lines, and warehouse facilities

Responsibilities

• Will oversee day‑to‑day H&S operations
• Maintain and improve H&S management systems (CDM background beneficial)
• Ensure compliance with key regulations including COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, and DSEAR
• Conduct gap analyses, implement improvements
• Support ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) using QMS effectively
• Fire and risk assessments; building safety
• Engage stakeholders across logistics, manufacturing, and leadership
• Drive change management
• Training and mentoring

Experience

• Manufacturing/engineering background
• NEBOSH general with fire
• Strong auditing experience to ISO standards
• Auditing (ISO), H&S as primary focus, change management, and training delivery
• Ideally experience in pharmaceutical
• Strong experience with COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, DSEAR etc.
