Job summary

SOL Services, located in Milton Keynes, is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance health and safety systems. The role involves developing compliance policies, conducting site inspections, and leading training initiatives across projects in construction and mechanical/electrical engineering. Candidates should possess a NEBOSH National Diploma and have extensive experience in health and safety legislation. The position requires excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National Diploma or NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate (minimum).
• Experience as an H&S Manager/Advisor in construction or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company’s Health & Safety Policy.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards.
• Lead on accident/incident investigations.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of UK H&S legislation

Excellent communication skills

Experience writing Risk Assessments

Experience with ISO 45001 management systems

Education

NEBOSH National Diploma

Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH)
