Our client is a multi‑disciplined and nationally recognised company delivering environmental, asbestos and water hygiene services to a diverse client base. They are looking for an experienced, versatile and commercially focused Health & Safety Sales Manager based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will come from a strong health & safety background and demonstrate a proven track record of effectively selling services to new and existing clients within an established company. Applications from Northampton, Leicester, Worcester, Stafford, Hereford and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong sales background within an established company
  • Extensive experience of working in a hands‑on health & safety role
  • Good working knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures used in environmental compliance sectors
  • Good working knowledge of asbestos, water hygiene and environmental sectors
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Package
Duties of the role
  • Promoting and selling company health & safety services to new and existing clients
  • Dealing with key sectors effectively and promoting the business appropriately
  • Identifying and pursuing new business leads
  • Creating strategies for achieving Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintaining and developing the business – generating new business
  • Reinforcing achievement of targets and goals by generating new business leads while managing existing clients/accounts
  • Finalising tenders and quotations
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients
  • Meeting targets and goals
  • Managing existing accounts

Overall, the ideal candidate will come from a strong sales background and also have excellent technical knowledge of health & safety policy and procedures.
