Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead safety performance across operations in Rochester, Kent. The role is on-site with no remote work, and travel to other sites, mainly London, is required.

You will inspect equipment, audit processes, create safety plans, deliver inductions and manage incident investigations. NEBOSH/IOSH qualification and ISO14001/ISO9001 documentation are essential for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification required.
• Experience leading safety performance across multiple sites is essential.
• Ability to create and implement safety plans and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production equipment and processes to ensure safety.
• Audit production and monitor unsafe procedures or processes.
• Create safety plans with recommended infrastructure/process improvements.
• Implement training plans and conduct new starter safety inductions.
• Manage incident reports and investigate causes; implement corrective actions.
• Produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments for site installations.

Health and Safety Rochester, Kent £50000 - £55000 per annum Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop safety performance across the company.

Key duties of this role are:-

• To inspect production equipment and processes to ensure safety
• To audit production, monitoring any unsafe procedures / processes
• To create safety plans, which include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure / business processes
• To implement any training plans and conduct new starter Health & Safety inductions
• To manage incident reports and near misses, investigating causes and implementing change as necessary
• To produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments in rediness for site installation.

Candidates must be NEBOSH/IOSH qualified and be able to maintain ISO14001, ISO9001 and HSE documentation for audit purposes.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.45am to 17.00pm, working on site, no remote working.

There will be occasions when you will have to travel to other sites - mainly in London.
