Health & Safety Manager Northampton

Salary : £65,000 £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location : Northampton, with travel to sites across the UK

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of all health, safety and environmental (HSE) activities across multiple construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate safety professional who wants to make a real impact driving a positive safety culture, leading best practice, and ensuring that every project is delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve company HSE policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, ISO 45001 and current UK Health & Safety legislation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and training to enhance health and safety awareness across all teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and clients to maintain high standards of safety performance.
