Health & Safety Manager - £60M Modular Hospital Project, Bournemouth Immediate Freelance Opportunity | Up to £550/day | 7-8 Month Contract

Join a landmark £60M new-build modular hospital in Bournemouth, delivering state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facilities to enhance regional services. As our exclusive recruitment partner, we're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to embed a zero‑harm culture on this high‑profile project through the winter period and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead CDM compliance, risk assessments, and regular safety audits across modular delivery and live site operations.
  • Manage crane lifts, module installation, and high‑risk activities with a peak workforce of 100+.
  • Interface with NHS Trust, New Hospitals Programme inspectors, and supply chain on H&S protocols.
  • Drive behavioural safety, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) with 8+ years H&S experience in high‑risk new‑build environments.
  • Proven track record on £30M+ projects; modular or healthcare experience highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; Grad IOSH or CMIOSH preferred.
  • Immediate availability and eligibility to work in the UK.
