A major farming organization in the UK is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to lead the health and safety agenda and ensure compliance with statutory duties. The role involves training staff, auditing systems, and managing health and safety procurement. Candidates should have NEBOSH certification and experience in a health and safety role, ideally with agricultural knowledge. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Salary: circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
Location: the role is based at our head office in Stoneleigh Warwickshire with regular travel to our regional office sites. Our Places|NFU Careers

To lead the organisation’s health and safety agenda, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and promoting a culture of safety, wellbeing, and proactive risk management. This role covers both headquarters-based office environments and a regional workforce; and as such both some office-based working and travel, spending time out with our regional teams across the country, will be needed. Duties will include auditing, creating suitable documentation, training staff in required processes / procedures, and ensuring our Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies are followed around the country. The postholder will also be responsible for managing health and safety-related procurement and budgets.
