Job description
About the Role

This role supports the implementation of the HelloFresh HSMS at the Windmill distribution centre, providing advice and support to managers and employees, and driving safety improvements across operations.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Assistant Director of Health and Safety to support UK Operations teams in implementing the HelloFresh EHSMS.
  • Deliver task and area risk assessments and develop risk reduction and management strategies.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement, open communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage regular safety audits and inspections, collaborating with relevant departments to address deficiencies.
  • Evaluate safety performance of external contractors and suppliers.
  • Engage and develop direct reports to achieve optimum performance and employee growth.
  • Provide guidance to managers and staff on safety matters.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a health and safety role.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices applicable to warehouse / food manufacturing / logistics environments.
  • Ability to drive a culture of health & safety and compliance.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
