EA Associates are working in partnership with a well-established subcontractor based in Brentwood, who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop their Health & Safety function.

The role
  • Oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple sites.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain H&S policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to site teams and management.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the business.
  • Liaise with clients, site management, and external bodies on all H&S matters.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role, ideally within construction or civils.
  • Knowledge of light civils projects - highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proactive approach with a passion for improving standards and driving change.
