As the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and implementation of health and safety initiatives across our organisation, fostering a culture of safety first and embedding safety in our organisation. You will collaborate with various departments to maintain effective policies and programmes that create a safe and healthy workplace for all colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety strategies, objectives, and targets in line with company goals and industry best practices, with a focus on building a culture of safety first
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, codes, and standards
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system, including up–to–date policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management on all health and safety matters, promoting the message that safety is at the heart of everything we do
• Facilitate training programmes and workshops to promote awareness and knowledge of health and safety practices, ensuring safety is embedded in our daily operations
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop effective corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into business operations and projects
• Monitor and analyse health and safety performance metrics, preparing clear reports for management review
• Work with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

Education, Experience & Competencies

• NEBOSH qualification and minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (essential).
