Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Health & Safety Lead to join our engineering and manufacturing client in Walthamstow. The role focuses on taking ownership of the Health & Safety function and building a structured, compliant safety culture on-site.

You will conduct a full site audit, identify gaps, develop action plans, and update policies while ensuring compliance with PUWER, LOLER and COSHH.

Competenze

• NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification with practical H&S experience.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and implementing safety procedures.
• Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER and COSHH.
• Understanding of engineering workshop operations and risks.
• Confident working with engineers, management and operations teams.
• Able to identify problems and implement practical solutions.

Mansioni

• Conduct an initial site-wide Health & Safety audit, identifying gaps and risks.
• Develop and implement a clear action plan to address findings.
• Review and update Health & Safety policies, procedures and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
• Own risk assessments, RAMS, safe systems of work and inspections.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve practices and culture.
• Support day-to-day management of the engineering workshop.
