Are you an ambitious HSE professional looking to take the next step in your career? This is an opportunity to join a large, fast‑paced operation where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.

As the Health, Safety & Environmental Officer, you'll take ownership of HSE initiatives, ensuring compliance, engagement, and continuous improvement. Working closely with managers and operational teams, you'll embed safe working practices, promote a strong safety culture, and help develop sustainable environmental processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support HSE initiatives and campaigns across the site
  • Review and develop risk assessments, safe systems of work, and training programmes
  • Promote a positive safety culture through proactive engagement and communication
  • Monitor compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement through audits, reporting, and action plans
About You
  • Experience: Around 2‑3 years in a Health, Safety & Environmental role, ideally within manufacturing, recycling, or an industrial setting
  • Qualifications: Holds or is working towards a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification)
  • Mindset: Proactive, curious, and confident to challenge the norm to drive improvement
