About the Role

As our Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you will advise on statutory compliance of all relevant operational activities, ensuring current procedures / systems within the businesscomply withrelevant policy and legislation and industry best practice.

You will work closely with projects and business hubs promoting a positive and proactive approach to HSE management and providing technicalexpertiseand mentoring, educating the business on regulatory compliance obligations and adherence with our ISO management system including carrying out regular audits and inspections.

You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months. You will alsobe requiredto regularly travel to sites around the area.

Key attributes to this role are as follows:

· Have a Social Housing and Repair and Maintenance or Facilities Management background.

· A NEBOSH Construction Certificate isrequiredas a minimum and ideally working towards Diploma or equivalent.

· Hands-on, relevant industry experience and knowledge of the construction/Repairs/Facilities Management industry isrequired.

· You will have a positive and proactive approach to HSE management, with the ability to build strong relationshipin order toinfluence and engage at all levels of the business toultimately delivera strong HSE culture.

· Lead on workplace accident/incident investigations.

· Ability to produce factual,clearand concise reports.

· Strongtrack recordof managing multi-site workforces.

· No hybrid working, must be able to work frommain officelocatedat Maida Vale.

·Good levelof written English.

· Good computer skills.

·Good communicationskills e.g. ability to communicate with different stakeholders atdifferent levels.

· Ensure best practice prevails throughout the Region’s activities.
