Job summary

Premier Foods is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental strategy at our Moreton site. You will champion a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement to meet regulatory and business requirements.

You’ll manage a talented HSE team, collaborate with operations, deliver improvement plans and provide robust reporting to support site performance and compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Qualifications

• Has NEBOSH General Certificate and strong knowledge of UK H&S law.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.
• Experience delivering HSE training and driving behavioural change.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy in line with legal, regulatory and business requirements.
• Driving a positive behavioural safety culture through engagement, coaching and leadership.
• Delivering HSE improvement plans and performance programmes.
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on HSE performance to support business objectives.
• Leading site environmental initiatives and compliance programmes.
• Managing and developing the HSE team to maximise performance and capability.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained and continuously improved
