Job Description

Our client is a reputable environmental consultancy providing high‑quality health & safety services to a varied portfolio of clients across the UK. They are seeking an experienced, hardworking Health & Safety Consultant to manage contracts in and around the Redhill area. The ideal candidate will be a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH), hold a NEBOSH or equivalent qualification, and be fully conversant with health and safety guidelines.

Location: Redhill, Reigate, Aldershot, Horley, Purley, and surrounding areas. Committed to extensive travel.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical, consultancy, management, auditing background in asbestos, legionella, or related fields.
  • Chartered IOSH membership (CMIOSH) and NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification.
  • Practical experience within asbestos, legionella, fire or other relevant industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to organise own workload and prepare presentations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and maintain a flexible attitude to work.
Main Responsibilities
  • Attend sites to conduct inspections of Health & Safety performance.
  • Perform Health & Safety risk assessments and address arising issues.
  • Carry out Health & Safety, staff and compliance audits.
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients.
  • Produce comprehensive audit, Health & Safety and environmental reports.
  • Conduct Safety Training courses.
