Job description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated administrator to co-ordinate all aspects of the company's health & safety management system and support both the Health & Safety and Compliance Team in delivering an outstanding service to their internal and external customers. You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the maintenance and updating of all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining the health and safety training programme including maintaining training records.
  • Co-ordinating the administration of meetings, including producing agenda and taking and distributing minutes.
  • Manage the learning management system and ensuring the accuracy of the data.
  • Ensuring that the health and safety performance data is validated and reported accurately.
  • Excellent IT skills including excel and PowerPoint.
  • The confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • A pro-active and persistent approach in order to ensure actions arising from our active and reactive monitoring programmes are satisfactorily resolved.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential, development will be available to you.
