Job summary

An established manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Health and Safety Facilitator to coach managers on H&S responsibilities. This role involves driving a safety-first culture, leading training efforts, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have FMCG experience and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate. The position offers a competitive salary with Monday to Friday working hours.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing outsourced risk assessments such as DSEAR and Fire.
• Accredited IOSH Trainer or Train the Trainer qualification is advantageous.
• First Aid at Work qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor managers on H&S responsibilities.
• Drive awareness and education through training.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure compliance.

Skills

FMCG industry experience

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

Experience managing legal registers

Experience managing H&S aspects of change

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Tools

ISO 45001 implementation

Accredited IOSH Trainer
