Brandon James Limited is actively recruiting an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisor for a growing consultancy. The role focuses on Higher-Risk Buildings, combining site assessments, technical consultancy, and office tasks across multiple UK locations.

You will conduct Fire Risk Assessments on high-rise and complex properties, review safety policies, and liaise with clients and authorities. The position requires travel and offers strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 4+ qualification in Fire Risk Management is essential.
• Minimum 4 years' experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments.
• Extensive experience assessing high-rise residential buildings.
• Strong knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Knowledge of PAS 79, BS 9999 and Approved Document B.
• NEBOSH General or equivalent desirable.
• Professional membership with IFE, IFSM or equivalent advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across high-rise residential buildings and complex properties.
• Carry out Health & Safety Risk Assessments and compliance audits.
• Provide expert advice on UK fire safety legislation and building safety regulations.
• Produce detailed fire risk assessment reports with clear, practical recommendations.
• Review and develop fire safety policies, procedures and management systems.
• Undertake quality assurance checks on technical reports.
• Liaise with clients, Fire and Rescue Services and relevant stakeholders.
• Support internal technical development and deliver fire safety training.

Are you an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisor looking for an exciting opportunity with a well-established and growing consultancy?

A highly respected fire safety and health & safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisor to join their expanding team, with a particular focus on Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).

This is an excellent opportunity for a Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisor who enjoys a mixture of site-based assessments, technical consultancy and office-based responsibilities.

The Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisor's Role
