Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a SHE Advisor, based in the Ribble Valley Area to be mentored by a highly experienced SHE Manager within a thriving and highly successful manufacturing group that places SHE at the heart of its operations. As the company continues its year-on-year growth, it offers an exciting, fast paced working environment with clear career progression, including future training sponsorship for Level 6 qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Support the reduction of SHE risks and hazards across the site
  • Deliver appropriate Health and Safety training
  • Undertake workplace inspections and audits
  • Support the implementation of the new group SHE management system
  • Undertake reporting and escalation requirements
  • Support the management of contractors and visitors on site
  • Implement group SHE initiatives and campaigns across the site
  • Deploying strategy and systems
  • Complete risk assessment and risk management
  • Lead on incident investigation
  • Investigate the working environment for unsafe practices and conditions
Qualifications

You will be passionate about Health, Safety and Environment and enjoy coaching, educating and engaging with employees at all levels of business. You will hold the Nebosh Certificate, with previous experience operational SHE experience in an industrial setting such as manufacturing or logistics, leading practical initiatives that empower and encourage employee engagement.
