Health, Safety and Compliance Manager

This is an exciting time to become part of Salford City College Group as we expand our Estates Team to support the College through a period of transformation.
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Officer to manage soft facilities and play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for all.

About the role

In this vital position, you'll advise Senior Leaders, Heads of Department, and colleagues on all aspects of health, safety, environmental management, and well‑being.
You’ll ensure the College meets statutory obligations, insurance requirements, and internal HSE policies, helping us to uphold the highest standards across our campuses.
We’re looking for a competent Health and Safety professional who can take a sensible, values‑driven, proportionate approach to managing real risks.
While experience in the education or public sector is desirable, it’s not essential; what matters most is your commitment to promoting awareness, responsibility, and a positive safety culture.
