Job summary

Lancashire Renewables is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor based at our Thornton site to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, visitors and the environment. You will implement and maintain rigorous safety standards across all operations and promote a transparent, accountable safety culture.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, IOSH/IIRSM membership with CPD, and strong knowledge of waste safety regulations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Membership of IOSH or IIRSM with CPD.
• Understanding of waste management safety standards.
• Ability to organise and lead on H&S practices.
• Knowledge of emergency response, evacuation, first aid.
• Proficient in documenting and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health and safety standards across operations.
• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety protocols for employees and visitors.
• Maintain incident reporting and records.
