Job summary

4Recruitment Services is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide specialist guidance across office-based and operational services in the UK. You will support the development and implementation of health and safety policies, risk assessments and training, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice.

You will undertake audits and investigations, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement while liaising with managers and contractors to raise safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• IOSH Tech Membership and a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert health and safety advice and guidance to managers and staff.
• Develop, review and monitor health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Undertake health and safety audits, inspections and accident investigations.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, regulations and best practice.
• Coordinate and deliver health and safety training where required.
• Produce accident, incident and health and safety reports and recommendations.
• Work with managers and contractors to improve health and safety standards.
