As part of our dedication to ensuring we operate safely we are keen to grow our team and are now looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to support us in the Northern Region of the UK, for a fixed term period of 12 months
You will be providing professional advice and assistance in relation to health, safety and welfare compliance as well as facilitating on-going improvements. Assisting managers and supervisors in complying with the requirements of health and safety law and corporate occupational health and safety requirements.
You will make regular visits to our sites in Birmingham, Bristol and St Helens with occasional visits to Plymouth and Cardiff, where you will carry out health and safety auditing and inspections of construction sites, premises, plant and machinery and safe systems of work. The role will include plenty of travel with some over night stays to meet business needs.
Within the first 3-6 months in this role we would like for you to have a good understanding of the company policies and procedures, cultivated strong relationships which allow you to confidently carry out audits and to have conducted a full review of our management systems in order to put forward recommendations for process improvements.
