WhatYou’llDo

As an HSE Advisor, you’ll take the lead in developing, implementing, and managing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems that keep our people safe and our organization compliant. You’ll ensure adherence to legislation, champion best practice, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

From conducting risk assessments and safety audits to supporting training and emergency response planning, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest safety standards across our operations.

Office Hours:8am - 4.30pm

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, evaluate, and review new and existing Health & Safety legislation to ensure compliance
  • Develop, implement, and update HSE procedures and safe systems of work
  • Create and manage Health & Safety action plans, ensuring timely implementation
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain the organizational risk profile
  • Ensure all site equipment meets current Health & Safety regulations
  • Assist with fire risk assessments and emergency response planning
  • Investigate and record accidents, incidents, and near-misses
  • Lead safety audits and inspections, identifying and resolving potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on HSE compliance and performance
  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience within an aviation engineering environment is advantageous (training provided)
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold an airside security pass (basic DBS check required)

Desirables

  • Previousexperiencewithinanaviationenvironmentisdesirable.
  • Awareness of aviation safety management systems an advantage
  • Supervisory experience desirable
