We connect, collaborate, and champion the well‑being of our employees, forming partnerships and pioneering change in our ever‑evolving industry.

At Etex, we seek to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities. Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow & lead? Join us as a Health and Safety Advisor in Stirling!

We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to play a key role in supporting all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) compliance across our operational site. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you’ll help ensure legal and corporate requirements are met, the site remains audit‑ready, and a positive safety culture is actively promoted. With strong leadership and collaboration skills, you will drive continuous improvement, maintain incident reporting systems, support performance planning, and contribute to the development and delivery of EHS strategies that keep our people and environment safe.

What you’ll do:
  • Promote a Zero Harm culture by encouraging safe behaviours and challenging unsafe practices.
  • Attend and support EHS meetings at local, national, and regional levels to share best practices.
  • Stay up to date with legislation and corporate standards, advising managers on compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and analyse EHS data systems, dashboards, and incident reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the EHS Committee by managing meeting actions and documentation.
  • Contribute to ongoing EHS improvements, including Safety Improvement Plans, training, and documentation simplification.
  • Assist with Management of Change processes, Permits to Work, and contractor safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with line managers to improve risk assessments and develop clear work instructions.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Etex Standards across the site.
  • Represent EHS during external audits, inspections, and corporate visits.
  • Manage contractor inductions and maintain the contractor register.
  • Support incident investigations, audits, and timely follow‑up on actions.
  • Contribute to annual performance planning with a focus on high‑priority risks.
  • Support operational and senior management to apply EHS policies and legislation effectively.
  • Assist in planning and executing internal and external audits.
  • Engage with project teams to ensure EHS is considered at all stages of delivery.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate (or currently working towards)
  • Strong influencing skills with the confidence to challenge and engage at all levels
  • Understanding of ISO 45001 and safety management systems (advantageous)
