Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to all levels of management on health, safety, and environmental (EHS) legislation and best practices.
  • Support operational management in assessing and controlling the compliance and risks associated with their activities.
  • Conduct and advise on risk assessments to identify hazards and develop effective control measures across various operational areas.
  • Investigate work‑related incidents (near‑misses, injuries, environmental issues), determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Help implement and review our health and safety management systems (ISO 45001) to drive continuous improvement in our safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Hold a NEBOSH diploma
  • Effective communication, engaging, and training diverse audiences on complex EHS topics.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on performance, trends, and key metrics.
  • Proactive in keeping up to date with changes in EHS legislation and industry best practices. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity as the foundation for Airbus’ success, reputation and sustainable growth.
  • Previous experience working in a health and safety role, ideally with experience in machine and equipment safety.
