Health & Safety Advisor | Commercial Facilities Management Industry | £35K - £40K | Hybrid - Home + Site Travel.

We are actively recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to work within the Commercial Facilities Management / Facilities Maintenance industry. As the Health and Safety Advisor, you would be working for an industry leading maintenance / building services provider who offer hard services maintenance / building services and soft services facilities across a range of commercial and industrial environments.

The Health and Safety Advisor would be dedicated to a large manufacturing client, overseeing all aspects of health and safety across the contract requirements / services including hard services building services (electrical, HVAC, building fabric, fire & security), alongside soft services facilities (Cleaning, security, front of house etc).

Employment Package
  • Role: Health & Safety Advisor
  • Status: Permanent, PAYE
  • Employer: Leading UK, FM Provider (over 4000 UK staff, £300M annual turnover).
  • Salary: £35,000 + £4,800 car allowance (total circa £40K).
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 4:30pm
  • Holiday: 33 days (25 days + 8 bank holidays) + option to buy up to 5 more days.

  • Services offered on the contract: Hard and Soft FM (HVAC, Electrical, Building Fabric, Fire & Security, Cleaning, Security, Front of House etc).
  • Location: Hybrid / Mobile. 2/3 days at home, 2/3 days travelling across Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester (self managed).
Requirements
  • Must hold experience within a Health and Safety based role, ideally within the building services / facilities management / commercial maintenance or manufacturing industries.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Health and Safety across a variety of trade disciplines.
  • Must hold NEBOSH qualification.
  • Experience of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and 45003 standards.
  • Auditor or auditing experience is highly beneficial.
