Qualifications

This role will be part of Kimberly Clark's International Family Care and Professional (IFP) business—an organization rooted in purpose and innovation that has built a legacy with global impact. As Kimberly-Clark forms a strategic partnership with Suzano to create a world-class international tissue and professional products company, this role is proposed to transfer to the new venture once the transaction closes, anticipated in mid-2026, subject to consultation and other applicable legal requirements. Responsibilities
  • Lead in ensuring the required Health & Safety responsibilities are being carried out fully across the mill.
  • Ensure mill compliance with legislation and standards and build and manage effective relationships with relevant external bodies where necessary.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of the mill EHS Management System.
  • Manage 3rd Party Health and Safety Compliance (i.e. RDC, LSM and Amazon).
  • Lead Implementation and Management of Contractor Management Initiatives.
  • Report on compliance on all EHS schedules, LSW and inspections.
  • Own some Occupational Health performance standards.
  • Conduct internal EHS Training for operators & deliver mandated Health & Safety training either in person or via online training platforms.
  • Lead behavioural safety (SAFE) program for Northfleet Mill.
  • Support or lead investigation of operational activity to identify root causes of accidents and incidents and communicate findings as required to internal and external parties to prescribed timelines.
  • Participate in Safety and Environmental audits (including third party Facilities Management activities) and ensure ISO 45001 compliance.
  • Provide guidance in risk assessments of machinery and operational activity and support the subsequent risk reduction plans for these.
Qualifications
  • Minimum NEBOSH Certificate.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or working towards is desirable.
  • ISO Lead Auditor or working towards is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG managing safety.
