Company Overview

We are partnered with one of the largest MEP contractors in the UK, a globally recognised business delivering major Data Centre and commercial schemes across the UK, Africa, and South America. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are now seeking a qualified Health & Safety Advisor to join their team on a flagship project based in Heathrow.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the delivery of all health, safety, and environmental activities on–site, ensuring full compliance with legislation, company standards, and best practice. You will work closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture and drive continual improvement across a high–profile MEP project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on–site health & safety support across major MEP installations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in developing RAMS, method statements, and safety documentation.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Investigate incidents and assist in producing reports and corrective actions.
  • Work closely with site management, engineering teams, and subcontractors to maintain best practice.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH qualification (essential).
  • Experience working within the construction, MEP, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of H&S processes and site safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams on a busy project environment.
