Job summary

Randstad CPE London is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor with rail experience for a hands-on, site-based role supporting a growing portfolio of rail projects in South Essex. The position offers a daily rate of £325 outside IR35 and a contract length of 6 months or more.

You will provide day-to-day H&S support across live sites, deliver toolbox talks, review RAMS, carry out inspections, assist with investigations and drive a positive safety culture with site teams and clients.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate is essential.
• Experience in rail H&S is required.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Deliver site briefings, toolbox talks and task briefings.
• Prepare and review RAMS and other H&S documentation.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance checks.

Location: Between Hertfordshire and South Essex
Rate: £325 per day outside IR35
Contract Length: 6 months +
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm

A specialist infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support a growing portfolio of rail projects in South Essex.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role providing practical H&S support across live projects, with a mixture of site inspections, briefings, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
