The team are currently working with one of the UKs leading M&E contractors who are working for some of the most prestigious Tier 1 contractors such as Overbury, Mace, Lendlease and ISG.

They are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join the business on their commercial & data centre.

Company Overview

Duties

• Carry out regular, planned HSEQ inspections and audits.
• Understand both the company’s and your own responsibilities in controlling and minimising HSEQ risks, impacts and improving performance as detailed in Company Manuals.
• Collate daily, weekly and monthly data for monthly dashboards.
• Chair and attend Project HSEQ meetings and committees as agreed with the project teams. Liaise with Client, Principal Designer, and Project teams about project HSEQ requirements.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports inclusive of recommendations for improvement and verify that corrective and preventive action has been taken.
• Support external and internal audits (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
• Manage the project accident and incident investigation process through to lessons learnt with effective communication.
• Build relationships internally with PME project teams and externally with clients, Principal Designer, and other stakeholders.
• Any other duties associated with the role as directed by Head of HSEQ.
