Are you passionate about improving population health and protecting communities from infectious diseases?

We're working with a Local Authority in Bolton to appoint an experienced Health Protection Case Manager to join their Public Health Directorate, Health Protection Service.

Role Overview:

As a Health Protection Case Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our Health Protection prevention activities across communities and settings. Your focus will be on providing support and leadership on health protection prevention projects, including managing and organizing response activities for infectious diseases.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Leading health protection prevention projects, collaborating with statutory and non-statutory agencies, as well as community and voluntary organizations.
  2. Supporting the local outbreak plan by coordinating response activities and working closely with partners and local communities.
  3. Designing, developing, and interpreting health protection programs, utilizing your project management skills and commitment to public health principles.
  4. Establishing and maintaining relationships across organizations, including voluntary and faith sectors, to promote effective collaboration.
  5. Providing proactive information to support planning and decision-making processes.
  6. Working weekends and bank holidays as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
