A local GP practice in Worksop seeks a compassionate individual to provide patient support. Key responsibilities include health promotion, administering blood pressure checks, and assisting GPs with minor operations. Candidates should possess basic computer skills and 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English. An understanding of Care Certificate requirements is essential. This role offers a competitive hourly wage, emphasizing patient care and collaboration with a dedicated clinical team.
To provide support to the whole clinical team. To undertake health promotion and certain clinical activity such as BP monitoring, INR's, removal of sutures, simple dressings, assisting with minor ops under the direction of Practice Nurses and GPs.
We have an exciting opportunity for a conscientious, caring, compassionate individual to join our team.This is a patient facing role and your key responsibilities will include takingblood pressures, venepuncture, ECGs, undertaking new patient screening,health checks, health promotion and assisting the GP with minor ops and women'shealth procedures.
You must be computer literate and have 5 GCSE grades 4-9 orC and above including Maths and English qualifications equivalent to GCSEgrade C or above. The Care Certificate qualification is desirablebut will be mandatory to undertake if not already achieved. An enhanced DBS will berequired.
A full training needs analysis will be undertaken andtraining provided as identified. Previous experience wouldbe advantageous.
The successful applicant will require their own transport toenable travel to any of our 4 sites in Worksop, Carlton-in-Lindrick and Langold.

You would join a team of wonderful Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Trainee Nurse Associates, Nurse and Clinical Practitioners, Specialist Nurses, Paramedics and other Health Care Support Workers.
