Overview

Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan hospital is recruiting a Health Care Support Worker for Sirhowy Ward to join a caring and professional nursing team delivering excellent nursing care to our patients. The ward currently consists of 32 beds with a focus on rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will ideally possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good computer skills. They will be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards colleagues. An NVQ level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential for this post.

There are 12 or 6 hour shifts (days and nights) including bank holidays. There are opportunities to further develop with supported training and education. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
