A community health organization in the UK is looking for a motivated Health Care Support Worker to assist in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team. The role involves supporting patients in exercise classes, taking patient observations, and assisting with clinic administration. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in community settings. Training will be provided for those without experience in cardiac care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work in the Locala Community Cardiac Rehabilitation Team in Huddersfield. The post holder will be required to work within the service, supporting excellent holistic care to patients receiving cardiac rehabilitation. This will involve working with the multi‑disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, and exercise professionals in a wide variety of community settings. You will be part of the team running the Cardiac Rehabilitation programmes, including setting up and supporting patients in exercise classes, education sessions, assessments and home programme delivery as well as working in the nurse‑led clinics taking patient observations and histories. There will be some administrative duties to undertake on behalf of the team. We are looking for an individual with multi‑disciplinary skills who is confident working as part of a team in a variety of settings. Experience of working with patients with cardiac disorders would be ideal but not essential as support and training will be offered.
