Bevan Brittan LLP in Leeds is seeking a Solicitor (1-5 PQE) to join our Health and Care Regulatory team. You will advise on health, social care and education matters, both contentious and non-contentious, and manage a varied caseload including litigation in Court of Protection.

Our Health and Care Regulatory team provides advice and support to health, social care, education and housing organisations across the public and independent sector. We are a team of over 60 colleagues operating out of all four of our offices (Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and London) on a flexible hybrid basis. The role

We have an opportunity for a Solicitor (1-5 PQE) to join our team, offering the opportunity to be a part of a diverse and rich practice area that is intellectually stimulating and hugely rewarding. The role will involve advising clients on a range of health, social care and education issues, both contentious and non-contentious.

The team's services include management of complex litigation in the Court of Protection, human rights, mental health, safeguarding, patient safety, complaints and disputes, education (including SEND), children's law and challenges to decision-making in in health and social care.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage your own varied caseload of both advisory and litigation matters;
  • Advocacy at hearings (including Court of Protection and family court) and Tribunals; and
  • Active involvement in client care and business development.
