Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helping with activities of daily living include eating, taking a shower and using the loo;
• Moving patients when needed using equipment;
• Assisting in cleaning the patient’s room or house;
• Conversing with and comforting patients;
• Participating in conferences with other medical specialists;
• Helping other employees as necessary;
• Respecting professional norms; and
• Using One Plan software to record daily notes, prescriptions, and other risk-based observations (training will be provided);
• Notifying the manager and senior health care assistant of any significant in the patient’s condition.

You should have a natural capacity for compassion, dependability, diligence, patience, and adaptability. The following abilities are preferred:

• A courteous, dependable, and compassionate attitude
• Effective time management and communication abilities
• Willingness to work a variety of hours, including weekends, evenings, and mornings
• The ability to work in the UK is crucial. Please be aware that we now offer choices for switching to a different visa or obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).
• Since the position requires travelling between clients, you must be a driver with access to your own car and a valid UK driver’s license.
• While thorough training will be provided, prior experience in a care capacity is preferred but not necessary.
