Mastercall Healthcare is a social enterprise organisation committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care through a range of urgent primary care services. The role is offered at Trafford General Hospital, Trafford Primary Care Centre.

Location & Schedule

Full‑time or part‑time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) position. Interviews scheduled 3 Dec 2025.

Shift Rotas
  • Week 1 – Monday 08:00‑14:00, Monday 14:00‑20:00, Thursday 08:00‑14:00, Thursday 14:00‑20:00, Sunday 08:00‑14:00, Sunday 14:00‑20:00
  • Week 2 – Monday 08:00‑14:00, Monday 14:00‑20:00, Friday 08:00‑14:00, Friday 14:00‑20:00, Saturday 08:00‑14:00, Saturday 14:00‑20:00, Sunday 08:00‑14:00, Sunday 14:00‑20:00
Pay

£12.60 to £14.83 per hour.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the clinical team on duty, including recording vital signs, blood sugar and urinalysis as required.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face navigation assessment for patients presenting to the service.
  • Maintain clinical areas and stock control.
  • Use NEWS2 or other early warning scores to identify deteriorating patients and escalade appropriately.
  • Provide accurate information to patients, relatives and colleagues within own competence.
  • Administer basic life support and use of AED when necessary.
  • Assist with monitoring patients’ health and well‑being and promote health awareness.
  • Record and collate data on patient needs and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and with external services such as urgent care centres.
  • Prioritise consultations and manage shift efficiently.
  • Document all relevant details in electronic patient records.
  • Follow Mastercall policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
  • NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support training.
  • Additional clinical skills training (e.g., blood sampling, urinalysis).
  • GCSE or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in primary care or acute healthcare (e.g., A&E, primary care) under indirect supervision.
  • Knowledge of triage/navigation desirable.
