We are seeking a highly motivatedHealth Care Assistants with enthusiasm to develop knowledge and experience of patients with Intensive Care service to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist the Health Care practitioner to carry out routine health related activities and complete personal care and activities of daily living ensuring patient led focused care. As a Healthcare Assistant you will provide clinical support as required to help and ensure the efficient and effective running of the unit. This will include include delegated tasks such as recording physiological observations, recording blood glucose etc. You will support the team in maintaining stock and equipment levels., You will support the nursing staff and provide excellent patient care whilst maintaining the trust values at every opportunity. Changes to the UK immigration policy introduced on the 9th April 2025, increased the minimum salary threshold for certificates of sponsorship applications for Health and Care Worker Visa from £23,200 (£11.90 per hour) to £25,000 (£12.82 per hour). As per Agenda for Change, if you are new to the NHS your starting salary would be £24,937 (minimum Band 3 salary point from 1st April 2025 in line with National Living Wage requirements). This salary point is below the new minimum threshold, and therefore not eligible for sponsorship.
