Please Note This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK independently, with a visa or immigration status that allows them to fulfil the full duration and type of contract offered. The Trust is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

The post holder will be required to communicate with patients who have specific needs such as mentally ill, physically impaired, young children, elderly patients, very ill patients, non-English speaking, deaf or visually impaired. They will also be required to liaise with interpreting services for non-English speaking and deaf patients.

They will also be required to communicate with patients and their carers/families who are given distressing news such as cancer diagnosis or untreatable serious conditions. The post holder will be required to offer psychological support and liaise with other teams such as palliative care.

The post holder will also be required to communicate about delays in Clinics, avoiding and resolving conflict where possible.

The department, and the Trust as a whole, must be promoted in the most positive manner to the patients and local population at all times.
