Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Pathways care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a Health Care Assistant who will support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. You will work as a Health Care Assistant (Support Worker) with 12-hour shifts day and night, in a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a care setting is required.
• Qualifications aren’t essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines and personal care.
• Assist people at meal times.

• Encourage participation in social activities inside and outside the home.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
• Complete and maintain care records.

Contract type: Full time flexibility required 12 hour shifts days and nights

Rate: £13.21 per hour (increasing to £13.31 upon completion of Exemplar care certificate)

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• supporting people with their daily routines, and personal care
• assisting people at meal times
• understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
